Students have the opportunity to research the organization, products, and market of an existing corporation, and are expected to redesign its material based on forecasted market trends.
Communications Systems Design
This Graphic Design course examines design strategies used to develop effective communication systems for a variety of purposes. Communication structures, informational distribution formats, presentational media and user interfaces, production and manufacturing issues, legal and social policies, and marketing and identity strategies related to systems design will be investigated.
Digital Photography
In this Graphic Design class, students can learn equipment and techniques used in digital photography. Camera settings and attachments; lighting and flash equipment; filters, umbrellas, scrims, and reflectors; and computer software used in digital photography are demonstrated and applied in the creation of studio projects.
